Market activity – 11/8/20

FTSE 100 +18 points (+0.31%) at 6050, DAX +0.10% at 12687, CAC4+0.41% at 4909

DJIA +357 points (+1.30%) at 27791, S&P 500 +0.27% at 3360  NASDAQ -0.39% at 10968 – Shares of Colgate-Palmolive were 0.54% higher to $76.65 yesterday, on what proved to be an all-around positive trading session for their stock markets. Procter & Gamble Co also enjoyed a good session.

 

ASX +0.45% at 6137, SHANGHAI +0.36% at 3391, HANG SENG +2.32% at 24943, NIKKEI +1.82% at 22736 – Despite China’s sanctions taken against 11 US citizens, markets appeared unfazed and took their lead from the upbeat sentiment that prevailed on Wall Street.
